Please Note:
Private lessons are nonrefundable.
Before You Purchase
- 
Book the correct lesson type: Ski instructors teach ski lessons only, and snowboard instructors teach snowboard lessons only. Lessons are not interchangeable. 
- 
Age Requirement: Participants must be ages 4 and up for private lessons. 
- 
Advance Reservations: - 
Private lessons are 75 minutes long and must be reserved online in advance with payment due at the time of booking. 
- 
Advanced reservations are highly recommended as lessons often sell out. 
- 
Same-day booking is possible only if space is available—check at the ticket office for openings. 
 
- 
- 
Additional Costs: Lift ticket, equipment rental package, and helmet rental are not included in the lesson fee. 
- 
Group Lessons: Group lessons do not require advance reservations. For information on our free Mini Beginner Group Lessons, visit our [Lesson Info Page]. 
Adding a Second Participant
One additional participant may be added only with pre-approval from the ticket office.
To request approval:
- 
Email info@sevenoaksrec.com with your order number, and include each participant’s name, age, and experience level. 
- 
Wait for approval before placing an additional order as unneeded lessons will not be refunded. 
Important:
- 
Adults and children cannot share a lesson. 
- 
No more than two participants per lesson. 
- 
If this is the first private lesson for either participant, no additional participant may be added. 
- 
The add-on participant will be paid for onsite ($55 extra). 
- 
Only purchase one lesson if you intend to add a participant—if you purchase two, each person will have their own separate lesson. 
Weather Policy
Private lessons will be automatically refunded if Seven Oaks operational hours are altered due to weather or if road conditions warrant cancellation. You will be notified by email if this occurs.
Order Confirmation & Check-In
Once your lesson is purchased, you will receive an email with your order number within 5 minutes.

Check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see it. 
- 
If no confirmation is received within 5 minutes, email info@sevenoaksrec.com to verify your order. 
- 
Your lesson slot is not guaranteed until you receive this confirmation email. 
When you arrive at Seven Oaks:
- 
Stop by the ticket office to pick up your lesson voucher. 
- 
Proceed to the large “LESSONS START HERE” sign near the School Yard (beginner slope). 
- 
Your instructor will meet you there to begin your lesson.

Order Confirmation Information
After completing your purchase, you will receive an email with a confirmation barcode. You should also see this barcode on the screen immediately after entering your payment information.
If you are unsure whether your order was successful:

Check your payment method. Charges usually appear right away. 
- 
If your payment shows a pending charge but you did not receive a confirmation email, this indicates a connection error. Please email us immediately at info@sevenoaksrec.com for assistance. 
- 
If you are redirected back to the online store without seeing a confirmation barcode, your order likely did not process—contact us right away. 
It is your responsibility to verify whether your order went through correctly. If you have duplicate charges or an unconfirmed order, please contact us as soon as possible. Before attempting another purchase, check your payment method for any pending charges to avoid duplicates.
If duplicate charges occur, you must contact us prior to the ticket date to receive credit. Requests made after the ticket date cannot be credited.
Weather Policy
Private lessons will be automatically refunded if Seven Oaks operations are canceled or modified due to weather or unsafe road conditions. You will receive an email notification if this occurs.
Waiver Requirement
A waiver is required for all participants.
Parents or guardians must either send the signed waiver with their child or sign it onsite before the lesson begins.
Rescheduling Private Lessons
Reschedule requests must be completed at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled lesson.
To reschedule:
- 
Visit the “My Account” section in our online store. 
- 
Use the same email address used for your order. 
- 
You will receive a temporary password; once reset, your orders will appear under “Upcoming Visits.” 
If you are within 48 hours of your lesson time, online rescheduling will be unavailable. In this case, please email the ticket office by replying directly to your confirmation email.
Rescheduling a private lesson within 48 hours of the scheduled time will incur a $20 fee. Private lessons may only be rescheduled once.
Do not purchase a new lesson to make a change — email your order number to the office to be rescheduled. Refunds will not be issued if new lessons are purchased instead of following this process.
PLEASE NOTE: It is up to you to check Facebook for updates BEFORE traveling to Seven Oaks to make sure we are operating as usual during times of cold weather, rainy weather, warm weather, etc. We will make an effort to reach out to update you via email/phone if we close for any reason but there are many people to call/email and some do not receive our voicemails/emails. Please check Facebook before leaving if there is any sort of inclement weather.
