Please Note: Private lessons are nonrefundable.
Before you purchase your lesson please know: Ensure you are booking the correct lesson type: Lessons are not interchangeable. Ski instructors only give ski lessons. Snowboard instructors only give snowboard lessons.
Our 75-minute private lessons are reserved online, in advance, with payment due at the time of reserving your spot. Advanced reservations for private lessons are highly recommended as we do often book out. Private lessons can be booked onsite day of but only if they are available- check for availability at the ticket office. Lift ticket, equipment rental package, and helmet rental are an additional cost and not included in the lesson fee.
One additional participant can be added by emailing info@sevenoaksrec.com for preapproval from the ticket office. Send an email with your order number and your request for approval (include name/age/experience level of both participants). Children and adults can not share lessons. No more than two participants per lesson. If this is a first private lesson for either participant then an additional participant can not be added. Add on participant will be paid for onsite ($50 extra). Only purchase one lesson if you believe participants will be approved for an add on. You do not need to book two lessons to add on a participant. If you book two lessons then both participants will have separate lessons. Email the office if you have a question regarding add on participants PRIOR to placing your order.
Reschedule requests for private lessons must be sent via email 48 hours in advance of lesson time/date. Reschedule requests must be emailed to info@sevenoaksrec.com. Rescheduling a private lesson within the 48 hours before the lesson time/date will incur a $20 fee. Private lessons may only be rescheduled one time. Do not purchase new lessons: email you order number and the date to be rescheduled. NO refunds will be offered if you purchase additional lessons instead of emailing to be rescheduled.
Weather Policy: Private lessons will be automatically refunded and you will be emailed if Seven Oaks operational hours are altered due to weather OR if road conditions warrant cancellation.
Once you have purchased your lesson, you will be sent an email with an order number. Check your spam/junk folders. Once you arrive at Seven Oaks stop into the ticket office to pick up your lesson voucher. The private lesson will start at the large “LESSONS START HERE” sign near our “School Yard” (beginners’ slope). Your instructor will find you at the School Yard.
Your lesson slot is not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation email.
If you do not receive your confirmation email within 5 minutes of making your payment, send an email to info@sevenoaksrec.com.

Once you have purchased your items you will be sent an email with a confirmation barcode AND you should see the barcode on the screen after entering your payment information. If in doubt if your order went through check your payment method as charges will normally appear right away. If your payment method shows a pending charge but you have not received a confirmation you need to contact us via email as soon as possible (this means your order has a connection error). After placing your order if you are immediately redirected back to the online store (do not see a confirmation barcode), it is likely there was an error and your order did not process correctly, email us as soon as possible to follow up, info@sevenoaksrec.com.
